The Best Camera Is The One That’s With You

Is what Chase Jarvis once said, on the cusp of today’s era of mobile photography. Whilst we arguably went overboard on cameras, resolutions and film processing, some of the most popular photos of the trip - at least between the crew, were captured on our Fuji Instax.

Whilst we were shooting gigabyte upon terabyte of digital content everyday, alongside 10-20 rolls of 35/120 still film, long shoot days resulted in nobody really seeing anything we’d shot until we got back. Thus, the instantaneous snaps quickly became the most popular (que: lots of how best to take an iPhone photo of a photo discussion…)

FACT: Shaking Instax/Polaroid photos does not speed up their development. Despite Giles’ instruction, shaking nearly always commenced...
